I managed to try out a recipe from
The Hummingbird bakery cookbook yesterday (another christmas prezzie!) I realised i'd run out of muffin cases, but found I had some gold ones still left over from my wedding cupcakes (2.5 years ago now!) And since it was a friend's b'day I thought i'd use them :) Quite a bizarre recipe "brown bottomed cupcakes" but worth it in the end.
I've always wanted to make cake toppers too, but never had reason too-until now-so I grabbed my "wow flowers" happy birthday stamp and went about on a stamping frenzy. I cut out matching card to border them (bit tough cutting out all these circles without punches, since it had the correct size circles) and sellotaped then onto cocktail sticks.
